Having just spent 25,000 on a new Works, I want to protect it a bit more by having some form of tracking device fitted.

Three services i am looking at:

Tracker Echo
Rac Trackstar Plus
NavTrak

I am just wondering what others have had fitted and was the install done in a way that didnt leave the interior damaged or loose ?

Haven't had one fitted, but it may be worth seeing which one(s) are approved by your insurance company to help reduce your premium cost.

Good luck, and enjoy the car.

I fit the RAC Trackstar Plus
Be warned though - some thieves are now using Jammers to stop Trackers from working. They are not common but it does happen.
Also check out the anti hook & cane device - www.newministuff.com look at the security section.
Another bit of bad news I heard this weekend. - Thieves have now obtained computer equipment that can disable modern factory immobilisers It is reported that David Beckham has just had one of his cars stolen this way

Cheers Mike, Might pop over to see you soon for a Parrot kit for the new car, unless there is an interface for the 3 spoke MFSW and the HCB-30 to the new Boost?

Also looked at the weekend at the Clifford BlackJax anti hijack stuff. Then read reports of the system shutting cars down whilst at high speed :-(
