Do I have a Boost or Wave head unit?

I know this was answered someplace but i have searched high and low to no avail to find it.

I have a 2004 MINI Cooper S. I need to buy some bits and bobs from Mikethemini to preserve my NAV voice and steering wheel controls as I prepare to replace the standard head unit with an Alpine 9857.

The connectors to do this come in to flavors: Wve or Boost. I don't know which of these two my car came with. i did not opt for the HK system when I bought it.

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if this was already answered a million times already. (this really should be in an F.A.Q. someplace IMO)

Mikey,

Thanks once again for your help. You are truly the MINI ICE guru.

I ordered the necessary goods to preserve my NAV voice and steering wheel controls today.

Why did it cost me more for the cables and such than it did for the head unit itself?
VAT? Shipping? $300 for two cables and a connector seems a lot.
