Cassette player with MP3 player

Hi,

Since a couple of weeks I'm having some wild ideas about connecting a MP3 player to the standard radio/cassette player in the Cooper.

I know you can connect a CD changer to it, but I rather connect a MP3 player to it since that gives me more music capacity. I've had also some brainwaves about connecting a notebook with a large harddisk, Linux and Winamp or so.

The major problem is, that the cassetteplayer is already enabled for a CD changer and, I suppose, not for a MP3 player or something else.

Has anyone any experience with this? Or is there a standard solution for it?

Cuno

You have a number of options, you could try a Blitzsafe adaptor:-

Alternatively http://www.connects2.co.uk are releasing a similar system:-

Either of these would allow you to connect an MP3/PC to your head unit.

Or you could do what I did and install a CD changer that plays MP3s:-
