| CD changer source? Anyone know of a source for the BMW Alpine 6 cd changer for the mini? Install sounds simple and would like to stay with this changer thanks Gary from Memphis – Chili Red S White top SP/PP delivered 7/30/2002  |

| Crutchfield.com The Alpine unit is available at crutchfield.com. It's $249 I believe and the adapter to make it work with the BMW head unit is another $79.99. If interested let me know and I'll look up the part nos. Anyone out there know if the Mini Cooper S is prewired for the CD changer? My dealer quoted me $800 installed, but if it's prewired I'm going to buy the one from Crutchfield. |

| I was in Crutchfield's store in Harrisonburg, VA two weeks ago and inquired about a changer unit for MC. Salesperson said that he had no record of an adapter in the Crutchfield database. This seemed a little odd to me and he was surprised, too. I haven't had time to pursue it further... Do you know for certain that Crutchfield has an adapter? Anyone know where the pre-wired harness is accessed? Silk Green w/ Black roof; CVT; DSC; Cruise; kaleido black cloth int; 16 in. 5-star wheels |
