United-Kingdom Noob member help.

Hi there.

As of tomorrow morning I will be the proud owner of a Chili Red Cooper S. The car is absolutely fantastic apart from the damn stereo. The previous owner went for a standard unit with a tape player. I havent owned a tape in years!

Can anyone advise of a decent head around about £150 mark. I would like to do a staright swap rather than mess around with the wiring preferably.

look in the sponsors directory for Mikey the minis place - www.newministuff.com

Mikey is THE man when it comes to supplying and or fitting ice to a MINI. He can suggest whats good for your budget and supply everything you need from the fitting kits and converstion leads to the head unit and anything else that might take your fancy.

If you became a privilege member of MINI2 you would get discount also

......and the kit is briliant! 20 mins for me to swap out my OEM Boost unit to a new JVC set. The directions on his site are spot on.

Delivery was extremely quick too! This is the only route you should taker IMHO
