DIY Play your ipod videos on your Mini factory nav screen

We now have a kit available that can send videos from your ipod video up to your Mini factory nav screen
The ipod menus all still appear on the ipod & control is from the ipod but the sound will come through your CD Boost stereo via the supplied aux input cable. Videos are sent to the nav screen.
The kit comes with a dock cable for the ipod, passive cradle, no holes bracket & the navigation interface

hmmm, I thought there was a new Denison link that was going to do a similar job for around the same price as the standard Denision links?

Any pics of this kit and of it working?

Will get pics of the kit tmmorow, not got pics of it working, did one in a range rover sport today - got a tv option to appear on the touch screen this then selected the ipod
Dension are adding video out to the icelink plus - but this output is for aftermarket screens, it will need one of our av input kits to make videos appear on the mini screen. When these arrive we will be offering them as a bundle too
Note - when the new icelink plus with video out does arrive if you have it set to be controlled from the mini stereo/mfsw it will not output videos - you have to select ipod user interface to get videos.

Mikey,

That is far too expensive for what it is, isn't the DICE $159!

Can your unit display the IPOD menu's on the NAV screen, if so can they be navigated and selected using the MFSW controls?

I'm after a solution so that i can hide the IPOD in the centre arm rest, navigate the IPOD using the MFSW controls via the NAV screen and also have the NAV screen play video.

This would be great but i have doubts due to the MFSW having only cursor buttons and not a separate select button to select items from the NAV menu...

Steve

yes the dice may be 159 but it doesn't play videos on the nav screen
The dice is more like the icelink - £100
