Interior accent lighting...........wiring???

Just brought some interior accent lighting from newministuff, im going to splice the footwell lights to power them so they come on when the doors are opened

But once ive spiced once can i splice the same wire again? or splice the new accent light wire to power another accent light (wiring in parralell) ??? will this cause the light to be dimmer??

i knew i should have taken more interest in electronics at school!!!

You can splice several times either into the existing wire or the leds into each other. All the negs together, all the positives together.
Personally I wire them to the sidelights so they are on with the cars lights

If its only going to be a few LED's, you can wire them to the cars gauge light wiring.

I want to add some accent lights into the heater vents, but would like to have them adjustable for brightness like the rest of the dash lights. Does anyone know where I can splice into for this?

Boost headunit pin 14 grey/red wire
Wave headunit pin 13 grey/red wire

Just completed mine with 12v LED's from Maplin total cost £6 with a little soldering skill and some heat shrink, easy to acheive and cheap as chips. I have installed LED's into my Momo gear Knob which look's fantastic. The photo does not do justice the the lighting but gives you an idea.

Hi Mike, hope all is well on the baby front??

Thanks. I'm assuming that your power -off-take kit and wave-Sony adapter stuff includes the illumunation wire (grey/red), hence I can spice into that rather than the car?
