Speed Cameras on Factory Navigation

I don't know if I'm missing something obvious, but is there a way to display (or do anything) with POIs on the factory nav? I can't see any way of display them. I can't see anything in the manual either, though I know they do exist on the nav DVD (2006-02).

When you search for the POIs and select them as destinations, then the icons appear on the screen.

Go to "information" then search for POI on "location" or "destination"

I usually have it set to "petrol stations" on "location" so I know the nearest one to me.

I must admit i have flicked through some POI but not half as many that actually exist

Shame there isnt a way of having more than one POI at the same time - i guess then you wouldnt be able to see the road which would be a bit pointless

You may already have a copy but ive attached a list of the POI's that are available

The reason I wanted to know is because I've followed a guide to add the speed camera database to my navigation DVD, but I couldn't see how to enable specific POIs. Please see the attached pictures if you're interested.

I followed this guide:

It's translated from Spanish (I think) so it's a little difficult to follow, but it can be done!

The disc isn't different. Basically, you have to rip the original DVD to your hard drive, make some amendments, and burn a new one.

Is there a way that a nice person or people can do this to an English spec and host it for people like me that don't understand these type of things to download it ready for burning.

Sorry for not putting anything up today. I've been working on improving on the solution I posted yesterday (splitting the cameras up into their respective types - gatso, mobile, and so on - and having different pictures for each).

Sorry if this is a silly question but im new to this mini buisness (picking my first mcs up tomorrow night) How do i find out which version of the sat nav i have and should i expect to pick up a dvd with the sat nav.
Any help is much appreciated
