OEM Sat nat died

This morning after taking my car the day before to the dealership to get an airbag light sorted, my sat nav started behaving strangely. It was on map view and started flicking randomly through the screens without me touching it, I then tried to press a button and it did nothing, it locked up and then the screen went off, I've not since been able to get it back on.

Can anyone shed some light on this Would disconecting the battery help at all? Obviously reconnecting it afterwards

You could give that a try but I would be a little concerned as to why it did it in the first place. Might be a faulty unit.

personally i wouldnt mess with it and advise the dealership that it worked fine on leaving it in their hands

since then it hasnt worked.

they should then look into it.

if you faff about with it they will no doubt blame you and possibly charge u for any work they undertake
