Removing Paddle Shifters?

Hello! Does anyone here know how to remove the Paddle (tiptronic shifters) from the steering column? I need to remove them temporarily to get the pieces painted to match the rest of my interior!

two little torx screws at the back - but im not sure if you will have to remove the airbag . im sure someone will be along shortly to help you out tho

Are you sure there are torx screws holding these things on? I checked and I can't seem to find them anywhere...
