Retro-fit Chromeline Interior

I've been offered the chrome-line interior kit, which i wanted on my mini but was too late to have it factory fitted

Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay at the dealer for fitting? I know labour charges are ridiculous but don't much like the idea of taking my dashboard apart to fit the speedo ring and other bits

Or is it now easier on the 2006 model? I've got an 06 One Seven by the way

Thanks

Instructions on this site are for a pre-2005 model, not sure if it involves the same steps for my 2006. I'm not keen to take my dash apart myself especially considering my car is still well in warranty

Does chrome rings suit the lighter coloured dash?

Anyone know if chrome line interior suits the standard silver dash etc? It's just that I've only ever seen it on cars with the dark grey or Patina dash and it looks rather classy with the latter I reckon. Just thought that it might not go so well with the much lighter standard silver dash - any thoughts? It's actually a GP I'm thinking of, so is the chrome kit reversable, leaving no marks etc?

PS. One dealer quoted (for parts, not fitting) about £90 for the official complete kit, one quoted about £230. Erm, how come?
