Is the left-middle button redundant? it doesn't seem to do anything?

Also if you've got a multi-changer is it not possible to chance between CD's from the steering wheel?

The left middle button on my MFSW does not have any function.

I can only jump tracks using MFSW, but cannot jump across CD to CD - that has to be done from the BOOST panel.

Hmmmm, need to test the right middle button to confirm if I could jump from CD to CD with it.

Thanks for the feedback.

The LHS middle button on my MFSW does nothing. And there doesn't seem to be a way of changing from CD to CD using the steering wheel.

Seems a bit odd to me. At least I know I'm not alone DK.

Going to have to have something done about though.

To all MFSW owners with a CD Auto, I would be grateful if could let me know if your in the same boat.

Thanks.

I wonder if something like the SWI-X adaptor for the steering wheel controls - details at http://www.go2pac.com/ - can make use the left middle button?

It is like that light switch in your house that appears not to do anything. Here is what it does:

It makes you think.

Unfortunately, all indications are that it has no actual electronic function.

It does not! And I believe that's what it says in the owner's manual - the right middle button is for changing mode only.

Well it's official...the LHS middle button does absolutely nothing.

Also there is no way of changing CD from the Auto changer using the MFSW.

Why BMW could put A+B together I'll never know. It doesn't take much thought.

I'm with you all the way on that! As an exceptionally lazy individual I resent having to reach all the way over to switch from FM to AM.
