Yes. By most accounts this steering wheel plus the Sport Seats are the "must-have" options. YMMV

If you want cruise you have to get the MFSW. That's the only way you can get it. Don't quite get where the sport seats come in. Never heard that one before.

Snow creates a chemical imbalance in most peoples brains that makes them forget how to drive.

Plus, with the MFSW you get the really cool buttons to control your stereo. They are on the back of the steering wheel and are very easy to work.

Think the post about the sports seats was more of a comment that most people think you should get them. They are of course not combined with the MFSW as an option.

Most fun on 4 wheels.

Yes you most certainly do. The "Multifunction" steering wheel is a $350 option in the US. Aside from the steering wheel mounted stereo controls you also get the cruise control and a leather wrapped steering wheel, an item that has been ommitted by other posters here.

Well worth the money in my opinion. One thing I don't like about the MINI steering wheel is the use of 2 little tiny buttons for the horn instead of using the steering's center hub like in most other cars. Well, some of my older Hondas had 2 small buttons for the horn, so I am already conditioned to use them.

Right! The horn is emergency equipment, and who wants to be fishing around for a couple little buttons in an emergency.

I think the horn buttons should be larger. I dont't think I could spare even half a second to locate the buttons and press them precisely in case of emergency.

Anyway, the local dealer only provide customers with limited choices: (i) $194k CVT Mini with MFSW equipped with cruise control, stero system control and leather trimming; (ii) $165k manual Mini with ordinary steering wheel.
