Mini Cd Changer with new head unit? - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi, I'm trying to find out if it's possible to swap out the head unit in my mini to one that will work with the original cd changer that's in the boot?

It's currently the Radio Boost tape player head unit with a 6 cd changer.

Any help appreciated,

Only Mini stereos will work with the factory changer

Why dont you consider an MP3 CD player? In dash multi-disk changer are much more likely to break since there are so many tiny moving bits inside. I had bad experiences with them

Mikey is right only the factory unit will drive the OEM cd changer.
