Does anyone know if the above have airbags in them?

If they do, to what degree does the ECU talk to the airbag and pre-tensioners, will it know I've swapped the seats and begin to moan on the dashboard?

I've done it before on my MG TF, just disconnected the battery and did the swap. I just imagine the TF's electricals are a lot more basic.

yes they have airbags in them.

Not sure what the other bit is that you are asking, but to fit any seats in a MINI it is recommended that you disconnect the battery, but it can also be done without doing this, just make sure that you DON'T put the key in the ignition while the seats are out of the car as this will then show a fault in the system which can only be reset by the dealer.
