Simple question: Recaros - Dealer fit only?

Dumb question but I've decided I dont like the seats in the S, a bit to wide and soft for me
How much are the leather Recaros on the R56 and are they delaer fit?

Also does anyone have them on the old Mini and are they worth the money?

Thanks!

On the old MINI they were easy to self fit. The only hard bit was the heated electrics bit (optional fit) but even that is not too bad just involves carpets out and some fiddling. They are expensive but you can get for good money if you look hard.

Thanks.
I dont really fancy modifying my new baby when I get her. Its dealer fit or nothing i'm afraid.
I've spent two many hours messing around in cars and breaking things to realise i'm no good at it

Test drove the new S on Saturday and loved it,but would really miss the Recaros, does anyone know whether they will be an option in the future? (want a new S NOW but can't afford it yet! )

Cheers

Den
