thanks in advance for help -
as u might know my other half took delivery of her
MCS MY2005. however, amongst other things, the boost cd player was broken. so they are going to replace it some time next week.
i was told the car had cd changer preparation - no actual cd changer. i know u must have heard this question loads before - but does this mean there is actual lead going to the back to just hook up to a cd changer?
the reason why i ask is because i really want to let her use the ipod in the car. and instead of cheekily asking BMW to do it while they replace the radio - i wonder if i can just buy an adaptor to adapt the cd changer control to an ipod controller. after all, it doesnt matter if she leaves the ipod in the boot or runs long wire to front from boot.
why is the boost cd so expensive? its showing up as 450 squid on the mini website. heard it was just a philips (no disrespect to people who have philips stickers on their car window)
cheers again. hope i can do the same for others once my MINIknowledge evolves.
