ipod/mp3 interface for those who don't want to lose the cd changer gateway 300/400

FInally a solution for those who have an ipod but still want to keep their factory cd changer
The gateway400 is a plug & play interface (connects to changer in boot).
It has a dock connector for your ipod. It charges the ipod & allows you to control it from your factory stereo & MFSW. On Boost stereos (CD boost 2005 on, Cassette boost 2003 on) you can also have scolling titles on your stereo. (not on cars with factory nav but we are working on that)
ALSO - it comes with a USB socket so you can browse memory sticks or USB MP3 players from your stereo

Hi mikeythemini,

I've tried the link above, and it does not work?Is the product still available through your website?

Could we perhaps have a review on the gateway 400 and its operation and ease of use/interface, limitations etc, relative to a mini HU?

There any reason (poor interface/compatibility issues etc) that you decided against selling them, or merely business decision?

Did you have a chance to use any of them in a mini?

Sorry for the questions, trying to find a decent review of the gateway units but can't find anything on them!

Thanks again!

Had the same problem with Dension.
Each mail I received told me a different story about the product.

Eventually one of them told me the gateway 400 is NOT compatible with the 40 pin quadlock connector on the mini, and is only compatible with the 17 pin connector (ex bmw).
When i replied to that mail and questionned it, i was told, in very broken english, that it can be used with the mini with quadlock/40 pin connector, but must be connected by the cd changer cable.

-shrug-

Confused me enough to hold out on buying one of these..
Just really need MP3 now.

Thanks for the response!
