New head unit - replacing tape with radio boost.

Hi all.

Im posting this to get some info for my brother, he also has a MINI (a ONE D like me)
His however came with the standard sound system, including a tape player

He has had the car for about 3weeks now and obviously wants to change the head unit. He will be keeping the standard MINI speakers. I was just wandering if anybody had any suggestions for a decent head unit. Or any experiences which could help him out. By the way the budget is £150 - £200 max.

Edit - he has just informed me he wants one which is capable of playing mp3 CD's.

I would recommend the panasonic 7303
Good powerful unit, looks good, you can set the display to orange so it matches your dash, even upload mini logos onto it. Plays mp3's & we also have it available with ipod adaptor.
It has aux input for other mp3 players
