door panel removal problem

hi guys, need some help, i cant remove the door panel of my 55 plate mini one because i cant get the armrest to move off the handle, i know of the clip but it just wont budge, been trying for 2 hours now. any ideas??? thanks guys an gals

Slide in a thin flat object (i used a butter knife) or a spatular in from the forward end there is a plastic lug that needs to be pushed in then pull forward on the armrest

hi mikey, might pop along tomorow bout 2ish if thats ok, really strugglin with this, i can feel the clip but cant get it to go down, if i come in i wondered if u could tell me how to fit the tweeters aswel, they look pretty big, if its a big job i might just get you to do it, im scared of breakin somethin how much do u charge for fitting the comps, ive already got all the cable etc
