Fitting an after market headunit unit into a Mini fitted with a glovebox

Has anyone tried to fit an after-market headunit to a mini fitted with a glovebox, does it complicate the process? (ie the instructions that are now readily available on here for doing this)

Can't see how it would change it, but I haven't seen a glove box yet. Can you still get at the screws at the side of the silver bits?

Just looked at a pic... you'll have to open the glovebox to get at one of the screws, but other than that it should be fine - the silver side bits pull out towards you, rather than sideways.

I just thought that the glovebox might prevent the two upright from moving apart to get to the radio fixings and that the glovebox might have to be removed first. Look like i will have to wait until a few people have got 2003 UK MCS chilli pack cars...
