Second hand speakers

Hi guys!

I have some DLS R4 speakers which I used in my old car for 16 months. They are in good nick and still work very well. I paid £112 for them when they were new.

My friend wants to buy them off me but I have no experience on what the going rate is for second hand speakers. I've looked on ebay and other websites and no one is selling that type and I don't know what to compare my speakers to.

Can anyone tell me what would be a good selling price for my speakers? Or what other speakers I can compare them to on price? I was thinking £60 - £70 but he laughed at me and said it was too much and thought they were worth £50!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I would have thought £50 is a fair price. Second hand speakers and subs don't hold their value that well compared to amps. I've sold a few on ebay and always been disappointed with the prices. I'd take what you can get especially if you don't need to advertise or ship them.

id say £50 quid is a fair price for a 2nd hand pair costing £112 originally
