After finally loosing the plot with my Navman 510 I will be ceremoniously either setting fire to it or driving over it
Soooo, I am considering a Tom Tom ONE to recplace it as I have no desire to spend lots of money like I did with the Navman....does the ONE have Bluetooth on it and does it work well with most makes of phones?
Or have i got all confuddled and the Bluetooth is not actually handsfree on the ONE?
(my brain hurts today!)
i know nothing about these things, so I'll let you ask all the questions and do all the hard work before I buy one. Pleas have a recommendation ready beofr july when i go on holiday
I have the Tomtom ONE and it is not handsfree bluetooth, its only for data. fairly basic but it does what i want it to do, has camera sites on it and tells me where to go. And its brilliant at it!
Mary MkII | R56 Cooper S | Performance Torque'd 230bhp & 260lb/ft
H&R Springs | Forge Resonator Delete Hose | Alta CAI | JCW Turbo Inlet Hose
I have the basic Tom Tom One, I don't know about the bluetooth features as i've never used them but its very good at directing me to where I want to go
Never seems to get lost if you take a different route it very quikly recalculates, seems to have very good mapping and explains everything simply so you don't have to give it too much attention. Only downside to it really is having to take it off the windscreen everytime. This isn't so much of a problem for me as I don't use mine very often, but if you were using it everyday I can see it would be annoying.
For £160 its a great bit of kit, and much better than the Navman which I borrowed once to take on holiday and it got lost in the middle of Devon
I cannot speak highly enough about the virtues of the TT One, not the Audi TT one , The real TT One. Its great , ok it says you are in a field occasionally with new road layouts, but its worked well all over the uk, and across California, Arizona and other bits of the US. This summer it get to know Europe. Dont know why people want to store mp3's and pictures on them, as long as it has traffic alearts via bluetooth and your phone, thats all I need. Speed camera updates are spot on too Brilliant for the money and simple to use.
