Has anyone purchased a set of floor mats from Moss Motors. I am curious to know what their quality like compared to the factory mats. Any other carpet mat experiences would be appreciated.
I am also considering the factory rubber mats, please let me know your opinions on these as well.
I've got the factory rubber mats and I am very happy with them. I chose them at first because MINI does not sell any Lapis Blue carpeted mats to match the interior of my car (with the standard Lapis Blue carpet) and black carpeted mats were the only alternative - which I didn't think would look right.
But now I am much happier with the rubber mats over any color carpeted mats. Being rubber, they look a little funky (in a good way) and they add character to the interior (as if it needs it! ). They very high quality and they are a breeze to clean (remove them and turn them upside down and shake). I never worry about dirty or wet feet causing a big mess that I'll have problems with cleaning later like I would with carpet mats.

Oh, I almost forgot. Official rear mats from MINI, in carpet or rubber, are almost worthless. There is little rear foot well space to begin with, but the official MINI mats have a huge cutout to go around the non-existent navigation unit under the front seats of most MINIs.

Check out www.cocomats.com They are carpet but they'll last a long, long time. They are custom made for the MINI and the rear units are bigger than MINI's. I got the MINI rubber mat for the trunk, but the standard carpet mats from MINI are cheap.
