Sat navfunctions
Coulld someone point me to documentation for the functions of the sat nav screen in the R53 ( 04 ) model.
I want to know what it does....

I don't know of any documentation, but you could ask questions here to get answers.

Owner manual. Now this should be the place to start. Many Thanks. Should I have specific queries, I will post here. Getting excited now! Taken 5 months to fins a car I am delighted with, right colour, right price, right dealer etc... Think we are there!

They are fun cars, there are plenty of posts on the Factory Sat nav features etc, any specific questions you have you should be able to find answers to

Your head unit can be used for playing MP3's, I'mnot aware that the Sat Nav canbe used for films or not, the reader for the nav is located under the right hand side seat (drivers uk) maybe there is an add on for it to play films perhaps?

I am sure the head unit was a tape with the 6 disc changer in the boot.... will the 6 changer do MP3?

Not in an 04, only 05 up can play MP3 in the head units. The CD changer will not play MP3s in the 04 either.
The nav can play DVDs, but you have to buy an added unit for around 900 Euros.
That adds back up camera inputs too.

But instead of asking here, wouldn't it be simpler to just put a disk in the changer and see?
