New Stereo

Right I need some advice please. I have had my cooper for 2 years and its a 51 plate. The original stereo is still in it but it is awful. It keeps crashing my CD's mainly in hot weather and when i have my window down. Its all very strange.

I've been looking at buying one on ebay that plays mps's as well, but im unsure if a standard one will fit. I know you can get the surrounds like i had on my old escort but I have no idea if this can work in the Mini.

Please can anyone help and maybe recommend a decent stereo?

Hi how much money are you willing to spend, and are you just looking for a new headunit or speakers as well ?

alrite dude. firstly yes all you need is a new surround that will hold any aftermarket head unit. Altho if your changin i would recommend that you dont buy something crap at £30 or £40 because it will be worse than what you have. try to make sure you buy a good make such as pioneer or alpine. Changing the 6x9's in the back is also one of the best stereo mods you can make if you can afford it because the standard 6x9's are poop
