Ditto, got same question, 52 COOPER FACTORY SAT NAV NEW 3 SPOKE MFSW WITH PHONE BUTTONS ALPINE HEADUNIT NOKIA N91 Saw this and was wondering if thats what i need, and would have to be the complete kit? I was also wanting to get a arm rest, i am sure i have seen something which intergrates the armrest and phone connectivity somewhere?? Cheers! James

For your ipod I would go with the icelink plus https://www.newministuff.com/new/sho...uctshow&id=140 2 options; Hideaway dock connector version - nothing for a thief to see as the ipod lives in the glovebox, track selection from the mfsw. The downside - you won't get track titles just a playlist number & track number. You can select your first 5 playlists from the radio preset buttons Active cradle version + a no holes mount. This way you can see the titles on your ipod. Phone - a bluetooth kit - plug & play. We can provide a basic kit that just has a button for voice dial, answer, end. Or one with a display so you can browse phone numbers & see who is calling you. (we have no holes mounts for the screens Bluetooth kits for Minis here: https://www.newministuff.com/new/sho...roducts&cat=10

Interesting spec - providing the phone buttons are connected then yes that kit is great, I have it in my cooper s, bluetooth with mfsw control https://www.newministuff.com/new/sho...uctshow&id=256 Are you looking for ipod also? If so then I need to know what alpine you have? Armrest - the official armrest phone holders are designed for the Mini phone kit & the only have holders for a couple of old phones. You could fit a brodit phone holder in there & also if required a phone charger lead

MCS 2003 yeah just after ipod really i have a HK system in there. The guy i usually use locally rekons the HK enabler with an alpine is rubbish and thinks the best way is to not use the HK amp and re run wires for a new set of focal fronts with an alpine head unit and IPOd adapter. Though this is going to be £400 he rekons. But if there is a cheaper and just as good wy then hopefully you may know!? Cheers

Hi Mike, Since you are answering the questions, here are my specs 1) Sat Nav 2) Boost (I think that is the one for US Spec) 3) Aux 4) 2005 5) MSFW no phone buttons I want to use my bluetooth phone to mute the music and work with the nav. I know I read somewhere that I have to get the Nokia ck7w because it is the only one that will work with the Nav. I also saw that you have a kit that comes with the phone buttons. Any guidance will be appreciate it. |
