Mapping 2007-2 7 Digit Postcode search

I have been informed that the latest 2007-2 maps now have upto 7 digit UK postcode search and not partial like in 2007-1 hooray!
They caught up with Tom Tom at long last

i got the 2007-2 dvd on loan at the mo, havnt used it yet so will check about the 7 digit post code thing.

hmm just checked it out, could not see any 7 digit post code search. searched in town/city and road, still only 4 digits.

unless they have hidden it somewhere

You deffo got 2007-2, I have been reliably informed it is up-to 7 digits now, anyone else have 2007-2, also are the disks the same for the R56 model?

Does it require a firmware update to enable the postcode search does anyone know?

its probably the firmware & new map disk together that allow the full postcode. if your running old firmware and install new map disk then you *might* only be able to do search as before. just a guess

spoke to the parts dept yesterday and apparently there is a Feb release which is £85 and does include the full post code search, however I'm still working on getting it for free, as this was released before my car was built

Or £85 for the map disk, that is a good price if it is for the map disk!
