Ipod/MP3 AUX Input for 2002 Radio Boost

No coding that I know of, that is news to me.

When I press the MODE button on the stereo, I can choose between Radio and CD - there is not, and never has been a CD Changer fitted. When I connected the ipod interface, I expected to see the option to select CD Changer when I pressed the MODE button. This didn't happen.

I called BMW, and Connects2 and the supplier of the device. They all confirmed to me that the stereo needed recoding. I called 3 ICE stores and 3 BMW specialists to get quotes, and they all knew about the problem.

I cannot find any information about this on the internet.

SORTED!! Disconnected power to the HU. That reset it and works now.
