SAT NAV DVDs

Does anyone know if the built in sat nav system in the MINI (Mk IV) takes DVD-R or DVD+R...?

Does it not like any of them, or will happily take either?!

Any preference on makes (i.e Philips, Sony, Maxell etc) that the system is happy with?

Please help!

thanks

Mins

I have used DVD-R successfully on a 1st gen satnav. Burn it slow though!

Cheers - I tried this but whilst the DVD was read ok, the maps and everything was very slow to work, so I guess I have a duff original DVD map. ah well...

As a side note, I managed (somehow) to enable the perspective function on my 2004 CD map...yes I said CD!!! Weird but great for me!!

I did this following the update of firmware to version 29.1 (v29.1)

wahooo!
