Does the Gateway 100 now supercede the Gateway 400?

I have August 2005 Standard Wave Cassette Player with Standard BMW CD Changer - will this work on mine just minus the titles?

Thanks

No -
The 100 is a lower spec version - the 400 has usb port as well, so you can put music on a portable hard drive or usb stick and connect it up. The 400 is just a 300 supplied with the cd changer retention cable, meaning you can source the changer, ipod or usb devices. You can purchase the retention kit seperately for the 100. If you don't think you'll usde the usb port then just get the 100.

Thanks matey. Not that bothered about USB to be honest, i'm more interested in the blue tooth, especially as I have 2 spoke MFSW as well. Think this may be the next mod!

What I didn't get an answer to, either from this forum, or dension themselves, is if this is a limitation of the technology, my particular phone, or the dension GW 300. Apart from that it works very well, although lots of echo is heard I am told.

Your not far off - support is very hit and miss! They told me last week that new firmware is due this week, so lets see what happens. One thing I,m also trying to improve is the output level of the dension unit as its fairly quiet compared to the radio sound level. They sent me some config files, but I can't tell any difference between -6dB and +6dB's

Have you seen my post? I don't think they're lying, for once.
