Removing gear gaiter ring surround.

I have noticed that the leather gaiter has started to come loose from the silver plastic ring which holds it down. How do you remove the ring so that I can fasten the gaiter in place again?

Hope that makes sense to someone.

Just get a flat blade screwdriver and gentally ease it up job done.

Thanks for the help. Sorted what I needed to do, just needed to re-stick the gaiter and all was sorted.
