help please with 2-spoke to 3-spoke steering conv and MFSW

Ok guys, i have found a 3 spoke wheel at a good price but it is non MFSW, i have MFSW on my 2-spoke so don't want o lose it, can i buy the MFSW parts seprately from BMW and fit this to my 3-spoke wheel and voila it will work., or will i need to change slip rings etc and what would be the cost to do this.

Really do prefer the 3-spoke but don't want to lose my steering wheel controls and cruise control

Yes you can add Multifunction to a 3 spoke by buying the bits from BMW, see RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog.

You should not need a new slip ring as it already has the MSFW tracks.

Not sue if its plug & play though.

Best of luck. If you need circuits PM me as I have BMW EWS.

Ant the MFSW buttons from Bmw are going to set you back £200 mate if you buy them new i just got the Jcw wheel fitted to my 2002 Mcs and had to source the air bag and buttons, got the buttons for £25 from a mini breakers but you'll also need the 3rd cover which i didn't get opted for the carbon one instead, try 1320 auto's site sponsor theres a few more out there i got mine from mini Matt.

Off the top of me head i think the connectors where an eight pin plug, felt like a new car when i had it fitted enjoy.
