cheapest ipod integration

Do you know the cheapest way for an ipod integration in the mini cooper s 2004? For what I have seen, it's all so expensive it's even higher than the ipod itself costs. I don't have charge it via my car nor I don't have to have ipod display on the radio, only control via ipod and hear it from the mini's stereo. Hope you can help! I can't find it here on the site.

Cheapest is the AUX kit but the sound quality is not as great. I will be selling my Icelink Plus soon as well if you are interested. It is a HU version and has worked great for me.

The FM transmitters appears to be the cheapest solution (50 euro's)
Don't need the radio or stearing wheel to control the ipod, realy not worth it's money to me

You can actually do the AUX cheaper and the FM transmitters really are horrible for sound quality that is if you can find a free station to broadcast on. Trust me and stick with the AUX at minimum.

Agree about the FM transmitters, the sound is really dreadful and you lose the signal loads and have to re-tune them in. Waste of money

Unfortuately my radio isn't capable to use the AUX for Ipod integration I have looked for it. I will let you know how the quality of the FM transmitter will be, I don't realy need a super sound. I have seen such devices in reviewes where it was indeed bad about quality, but this one I bought had good references.
