Alpine iDA-X001 Questions...

1. Can you put in a RED background for the screen (anyone have a pic?)

2. Does the sub out have a crossover setting, is it a fixed freq, or is it full range out?

3. What are the center freq for the bass & treble controls, and are they shelving, or peek/dip?

I'm fitting mine tonight, and will try to find the answers to some of your questions, but I do know that you can download a red graphic for the main display. Alpine.com has downloadable graphics. Unfortunately, there's no provision to make your own and upload it as of yet.

I'm just finished fitting mine, thanks to the wonderful HK enabler from Mikey, who is a toff when it comes to all things MINI. The wallpapers can be downloaded from Alpine's website, onto a pendrive, and then onto the headunit. The Sub has a fixed frequency, but it isn't full range, I'll try to find the frequency for you. And I've no idea how to answer your third question.
