Gateway 100 options

I,m picking up my 2nd MCS this friday. Its a Dec 2004 (54 plate) registered car. It currently has the cassette HU plus the 6 cd changer in the boot. It also has three spoke MFSW.I want to take out the cassette HU and the cd changer (maybe !) and have the boost single CD HU in and the gateway 100 ipod I/F.
I also want to add the bluetooth option to the gateway.
Question - in mikethemini's original thread he states that there will be a cable following that allows the changer to be used as well. Anyone got one - how does it work, ie in the IceLink+ the ipod playlists took the place of the cd buttons. How will the HU know if you've selected an ipod playlist or the cd changer?
Also has anyone used the bluetooth option yet and what are the general opinions on it?

I,d prefer to keep to the dension product as I was very happy with the IceLink+ in my previous MCS, and the bluetooth option makes things simpler and cheaper.

Also, when receiving a phone call, is the phone number, or the name from the phones' contact list displayed on the HU?

If your playing the ipod, & want to play CD changer, you select it from a source menu that appears from button 6 -CDC. To go back to ipod once your on cd changer you toggle the random button 3 times.

When receiving a call you will see the number of the person calling

I asked the question about whats displayed on the HU when a call is received and I got 'caller ID'. By that I assume its the name in the phonebook/contacts list rather than the actual telephone number, so now I don't know what to expect!
I,m surprised there is not more response to my questions - I guess the bluetooth option for the dension is slow to take off (or its just so new?).

As Mikey says at the bottom of post 3 you get the number of the pesron calling.

With my phone it just came up with a number
