no. just the wave cassette connected to a 6 cd autochanger. coopergeezer mentions something about having paid the dealer 35 quid to get some sort of adaptor. But he paid over £400 just for the boost cassete upgrade, which i don't think is worth it.

cool, that is good. so you understand the problems i am having. What do you mean by "the cd plug swaps over?" So basically i need two adaptors, one to change the block of round pins to fit the flat pins. And another to change the radio jack? Cheers again mate, would've been quite lost if it hadn't been for you.

well went into the dealers today and asked if they had any idea on how to upgrade wave to boost. They told me they have never done it before and that they would have a look. So they looked at the parts in the computer and fount a wave to boost conversion kit. They ordered the following parts for me: 61.12.0.144.351 Tubing £8 + VAT 61.12.6.913.954 Cable £6.63 + VAT 61.12.6.913.957 Cable £26.38 + VAT 61.13.0.029.658 Shrink Hose £1.04 + VAT Anyone know if these are the right parts for me? The description "cable" is very worrying. As I thought all i needed was two adaptors, one for the radio and the other for the cd autochanger and others. Why is there tubing and what is the shrink hose? Thanks P.S. Mikeythemini, do you know what these parts are? are they the right ones for me? If not I will tell my dealers to cancel the order and I will get them from you. Let me know asap as my dealers shut at 5 i think.

looks odd didn't have much luck Havn't done this conversion yet, We have a lead to fit the wave into a car thats had a boost !!!!!!!!!!!! but our makers don't make the other way round yet plus the cd plug looks different. Dont know what the tube is for?? I would say they will need more parts But they have quoted a cheap price so fingers crossed for you. Mike

I paid £413 for the CD-Boost, as I wanted Cd in the front as well. As for the Cable, I'll get in touch with my dealer and see if I can give me the part numbers for the leads that they used to do the conversion. Chilli Red with White Roof, Chilli Pack, ASC+T, SSP, Climate Control,17" S-Spoke Alloys, Harmon Kardon, CD-Changer, Multi function steering wheel, White Stripes and BMW Aero Kit.

thanks, could you also ask what was actually done? did they have to rewire the autochanger etc? or did they just do a stright forward plug in one end of the adaptor to the back of headunit? Really appreciate you helping me out like this.
