| Just making sure , you are wiring on another female cigarette socket right?? If you snip the tomtom supply wire snap direcft on to a cable from the original socket your gonna give the sat nav 12 V and then its bye bye sat nav!! Where i work we try and work from the back of the Cig lighter but if thats too hard to access we connect it to a cable at the back of the fuse box that is ignition controlled i.e. try and find the fuse for the cig lighter and connect to that. make sure you have cable that has an in-line fuseholder too just to be safe. |
