head unit identification

hi,
i have this stereo fitted to my feb 2003 mini one, is it a boost or wave cd?
i am buying an ipod interface for it, and need to know if it is flat or round plug, could anybody tell me which one it is?

If my memory serves me right you had to opt for the boost to get the cd player. In other words a cd player has to be boost standard.

It's a Boost CD (there was no Wave CD). However, it's the older model. At some point in 2004, MINI changed manufacturer for the Boost CD radio and the new ones look quite different.

Your pins are therefore flat.

I am looking to change my current boost radio (first picture) with the newer (SiemensVDO - second picture). I have sourced the new radio. Can anyone please tell me whether I would need an adapter as I did previosuly when I upgraded my Wave for Alpine Boost.
