I have a belkin dock transmitter and charger for my ipod touch.
It plugs into the cigarette plug and sits up near the passenger window button. It is a radio transmitter but works perfectly. The quality is absolutely outstanding.
The transmitters that plug into the earphone jack are crap as it relies on the sound on the ipod, but the transmitters that actually plug into the bottom connection work perfectly as they give out the sound at a constant rate and then you control it with the radio.
I would recommend an actual apple Itrip for any transmitter or my belkin thing.
I have the OEM Sat Nav screen with my ipod linked via the Intravee interface. This gives me id3 tages and full control of the ipod using the screen and radio/sat nav buttons. The ipod in the side boot compartment
Sorry about the delay Cosmo, I forgot to come back here. In case you haven't already done it, I have the Icelink with the Dock adaptor. This is the one that is pretty much identical to the cable that Apple give you. The hole is just wide enough to feed the connection through the hole (from back to front is probably best), then plug into the Icelink module. Simple as that.
