I bought my second
MCS from Tunbridge Wells 3 months ago and have been really pleased with the car....that is until the head unit started to play funny games with me,
When listening to a radio station it will change stations but still display the original station like radio 1 on the dead unit. Only pressing the '1' button on the head unit will switch it back.
The head unit will also switch itself off when driving along
The head unit will also stay on even when ive turned the ignition off and taken out the keys
The car has always had 'reg off' on the display of the head unit when i turn it on for some reason
The car was from a main dealer so i contacted them to try and get it sorted but because i stay 450 miles away from the dealer it was a bit difficult to take the car along to them..
So i went along to my local dealer in Aberdeen and they took it for a drive and didnt notice any problems. They also said that because the radio had not registered a fault code they cannot do anything else!
They have offered to go for a drive with me to try and identify the problem but taking time of work is difficult.
Has anyone noticed this or heard of this fault before?
Any advise?
