dashboard discolouration ?!?!?!

Hey guys, today i was bored so i decided to clean the inside of my car, afew shopping bags later full of junk and she was clean, anways i vacuumed and then i noticed the dash had quite abit of dush on it, do i went and tore up and old clean shirt, gave it a wipeover closed it up and walked inside, just walked outside to see white patches everywhere on the dash ! its like the waters stripped the colour wiped over it again with a damp cloth only to make it worse ill post pics later on but it does look disgusting !!! anything i can do ?? god i hope so

sure its not too bad, maybe just hard water (limescale) marks like you get if you dont dry the car quickly enough on a hot day. Nip to your local car spares store and get some interior dash product like armor all dash wipes etc. they're usually best to use, there are quite a few brands on sale in UK not sure about down south where you are though.
