Not yet done it to mine but have looked into it and it seems quite straight forward. The shelf is unscrewed and replaced with the box. Dependant if you have AC you will need to get air duct pipe and you will need to wire up a light for when it opened but these are only a few quid from dealers. Dont get carried away on bidding because they have them at 1320 autos for £47 + postage £7.

Yep, it's very easy indeed. I've done it a few times on various MINIs. Have a search, as there are loads of threads that should help you with fitting. But it's very easy, and you should be able to do it without instructions anyway.
