New firmware for the ice>Link Plus has been released so that the new generation of iPods are supported.

ice>Link Plus V2: Download
ice>Link Plus V4: Download

I believe that the ice>Link Plus V2 is the shrink-wrap-type, and the V4 is the one in the hard case (also known as the "2006").

It now says that new firmware will be available from 4 February.

They've pushed the update forward to 11 February now. Who thinks it'll get pushed to 18 February next week?

Best of luck! Do you know how to tell if you have the V2 or V4? Is the V4 the "2006" ice>Link Plus?

I just updated mine with the V4 (as I have the hard case unit) and it worked fine. It took about 2 minutes. In the past I've never been able to update, and now I realise it's because there are 2 hardware variants of the ice>Link Plus, and I obviously have the later one. All past firmware updates that have been posted here are for the old hardware.

All Dension have done is change what number 6 does; it now toggles between iPod control and stereo control. There are no settings available now, such as charging, which is a bit annoying, but at least it works properly now.

Any advantage of installing the updates - my ice link plus seems to work ok with no problems - still cannot get the track names on the head unit (2004 Mini OneD).
