Buying a 2nd Hand Cooper S have a question

Hi guys this is my first post and I hope to be owning my first Mini with in a week.

I am buying a Dec 02 Cooper S with Sat Nav built in. I have managed to negotiate the people at the mini dealers to give me an ipod connector and fit it. What I was wondering and promise I have searched for the answer is on this car will the ipod details come up on the Sat Nav or not.

Also is there anyway to play dvds on the screen with a firmware update or anything?

With the factory interface, no. However, there is a solution that will display on the NAV called the Intravee 2. Check Intravention - Home for more information.

As for DVD's on the screen, you will need the TV module and a DVD player to do it. Very costly and most don't bother. However, Mikey at NewMINIStuff.com can probably help.

I don't think that you can get it from any place other than BMW Bluetooth Retrofit Information Mikey tried to become a vendor but the owner/creator wanted him to place a crazy order...

I suggest that you try the Intravee forum if you are interested in it.

Fitting is easy by the way. It is pretty much all plug and play.
