Retrofit an OBC when you've got Satnav?

In the S i've got Sat Nav, the computer is alright, but i'd quite like to retrofit an OBC so when i turn the screen off i've still got the info.

Can it be done? Has anyone done it?

Don't you already have the obc on the nav screen? In mine i can switch between Computer (obc) and Sat Nav. Thought that was standard.

Yeah, but i can't see that when i switch the screen off, or if i want full screen sat nav

Don't you have an OBC display on your tach (in addition to the Nav screen)? The button on the turn signal stalk cycles the display between range, consumption, avg consumption, outside temp, avg speed. I have Nav.

Nope, what year is yours? Is it in the speedo or the rev counter?

Mine cat is a 2003 MCS with Sat Nav.
The only way to get info is on the sat nav screen..... I am interested in this also....
