If all you are doing is a one for one swap then its very straight forward.

The rear seats are the easiest, there is a "how to" in the FAQ section above.

Just make sure that the key is not in the ignition when doing the front and you will be ok also.

1. Remove key, this is a simple mistake that most people do.
2. Unclip the blue and yellow plug from under the seats.
3. Undo the 4 torx bolts on each seat.
4. take the seats out of the car while they are tilted forward.
5. Replace with new seat.
6. Replace the 4 torx bolts in each seat.
7. Re-connect the blue and yellow plugs ( make sure this is done and clipped in correctly).
8. Check that you have done everything above and turn the ignition on and there should be no lights lit on the dash.

Or i can give you a hand at some point as i am working in essex at the moment.

Scott

Aye ive done this before, ive changed my front seats to JCW ones and ive taken my rear seats out permeantly.

The only reason to disconnect the battery is if you for some reason turn the key while the plugs are un clipped. If you kep the key out of the ignition there will be no problem.
