Convertible Sidewalk Seats in a 'Normal Mini'

Hi,

This may appear to be a very random question but I though if anyone would know the answer someone on here would!

Would the seats from a convertible sidewalk or any convertible mini for that matter fit into a standard R53 Mini?

I would guess that the front seats would be fine but the rear seats I'm not so sure!

Chris

You've pretty much answered your own question there Chris.

1st Gen Convertible front seats will fit in a 1st Gen Hatchback, but the rears are totally different.

One option would be to fit Sidewalk front seats and then have your existing rear seats re-upholstered by a coach trimmer. It won't be a perfect match, but they should be able to get pretty close.

Scrogg,

Thanks so much for your quick reply

Tis a shame, I may have to look into getting both front and rears upholstered in that case. I fancy a change and the look of the sidewalks really fitted the bill. I love the idea of brown leather with BRG exterior!

Thanks again.

That will probably work out cheaper.
