Whalen shift knob - import duty or not?

Has anyone who has imported a Whalen shift knob to the UK had to pay import duty? if so how much?

There will probably be a Royal Mail handling & admin charge too

And the post office took 17 1/2 % VAT off me on delivery too

But, 3 years and about 50,000 miles (and 2 MINI's) later I wouldn't be without it; it will out last the car! This is a quality item and worth the money
