 Aux-in radio Boost? Can you help a newbie please? If i understand correctly, my 2001 Cooper with Radio Boost (CD) has an aux-in plug on the back which would allow me to connect my Sony mp3 player via a lead. (I connect my player this way to my hi-fi at home) Correct?? If so, two questions. Firstly, how on earth do i remove the radio/cd unit to get to the back and secondly, if i plug a lead into it, how/where does the lead then appear towards the fornt/on the floor, such that i can plug in my mp3 player?? | Incorrect I'm afraid. The Aux socket was only added to the Boost stereo in 2003. You do however have a CD changer socket. I had one of these interfaces from Mikey at NewMINIStuff.com on my 2001 headunit. Plugged into the back CD changer socket. Cable routed to pop out under the toggle switches, with mp3 in cup holders.
